Upon Loss
June, 2025
Holly is just a young woman going through life, doing her best to make everyone happy and comfortable. Sure, she has demonic encounters and thoughts of death--but what's that compared to heartbreak? What will she do when there's nothing left to lose and darkness descends?
This horrifying, dramatic, and autobiographical production is devised of projections, live music, dance, comedy, puppet/creature acting, and a one-woman show--all meant to shock and draw in the audience on her experience with learning how to give yourself hope in a moment of complete darkness. Themes of LGBTQ+, sexual assault, spirituality, and medical trauma fill this physical, devised piece of dance and performance art.
